Ty Cerbyd – Perfect for a Short Break

This light and airy cottage sits alongside a picturesque mountain stream,  its crystal clear waters passing through the rolling countryside of Plas Farm en route to Swansea Bay. The back patio of the cottage is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee – birdsong and the tinkling mountain stream will soon blow away any cobwebs.

The view from Ty Cerbyd’s back door – crystal clear mountain stream, pretty bridge, weeping ash, flowering rhododendron and traditional farmyard buildings.

Ty Cerbyd in ‘Downton Abbey Times’

The white archway and circle that adorn Ty Cerbyd holiday cottage tell of it’s past life as a nineteenth century coach house. Ty Cerbyd is an unusual holiday cottage in that it’s

  • Spacious yet cosy
  • In a secluded location yet close to amenities
  • Historic with free WiFi & HDTV
  • Five star and yet affordable

“Jangled nerves calmed as always. I want to live here. No really.”

Very nice and relaxing short break, good weather, nice cottage in a great location. Liked the Plas Farm Trail. Especially the World War Two bunker! Had a fantastic day at Worms Head and Rhossilli Bay a must see.

Short Breaks in South Wales

Ty Cerbyd is open all year and is ideal for familiy holidays, romantic breaks or the business traveller. We offer short breaks as well as standard week-at-a-time bookings.
The beautifully appointed bedrooms in this five star cottage have exposed beams with courtyard views to the front and stream to the back.

If you are looking for a self catering short break in Wales or a longer holiday, then Ty Cerbyd is fantastically located to see the ‘must see’ sights of South Wales, including the Gower Peninsula, the Brecon Beacons National Park and the seaside city of Swansea.

For families, there is plenty of space both inside the cottage and outside on the cottage. The back patio is enclosed and the courtyard lawn is visible from the property. Guests are also free to explore over a hundred acres of surrounding countryside. It’s unusual to find a cottage on a farm that is so close to modern amenities. We are less than two miles from a major 24 hour supermaret and just over five miles from the M4 motorway – although you wouldnn’t have the faintest idea when you are nestles in your cottage.
