Most cottages: check-in from 2:30 pm, check-out by 10:00 am. Plas Cilybebyll Manor: check-in from 4:00 pm, check-out by 10:30 am. Early/late options may be available for a fee.

Q: Is there a swimming pool?

The heated indoor pool is at Plas Cilybebyll Manor and is for Manor guests only.

How do I book?

Book directly at walescottages.com for the best price, secure online payment, and instant confirmation.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes – a 35% deposit secures your booking. The balance is due 4 weeks before arrival.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made by bank transfer (our preferred method) or by major credit/debit card.

Arrival & Departure

What are your check-in and check-out times?

For most of our cottages, check-in is from 2:30 pm on the day of arrival and check-out is by 10:00 am on the day of departure. At Plas Cilybebyll Manor, check-in is from 4:00 pm and check-out is by 10:30 am, as the larger property requires additional preparation time between guests. Early check-in or late check-out can be booked in advance, subject to availability and an additional charge.

Where do I collect my keys?

Key collection details are sent after your balance is paid.

Facilities & Amenities

Is bed linen and towels provided?

Yes – all beds are made up for your arrival and towels are included.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes – free Wi-Fi in every cottage.

Is there a swimming pool?

The heated indoor pool is located at Plas Cilybebyll Manor and is for the exclusive use of guests staying at the Manor. Guests staying in our other cottages do not have access to the pool.

Is parking available?

Yes – free on-site parking next to each property.

Pets, Families & Groups

Do you allow pets?

We have both pet-friendly and pet-free cottages – please check when booking.

Do you provide cots and highchairs?

Yes – free of charge, available on request.

Can we book multiple cottages together?

Yes – ideal for family gatherings, group holidays, or celebrations. Our Bryn Hir property is made up of two cottages with an interconnecting door, perfect for larger groups wanting to stay together.

Location & Things to Do

What attractions are nearby?

Within 15–30 minutes you can explore the golden beaches of the Gower Peninsula, the dramatic landscapes of the Brecon Beacons, the waterfalls of Waterfall Country, and Swansea – Wales’ “city by the sea”.

Are there walking trails from the cottages?

Yes – from your cottage doorstep you can enjoy a farm walk through our private estate, which includes riverside paths, oak woodland and hillside areas with panoramic views.

Are all the cottages in the same place?

Yes – all eight holiday cottages are set around a shared courtyard/farmyard complex on our private estate, which is ideal for families or friends booking multiple cottages together. The Manor House is also on the estate but in its own private grounds. See our Site Map for the layout.

Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than 4 weeks before arrival, we keep your deposit and refund the balance. Cancellations within 4 weeks are non-refundable, but if we re-let your dates we’ll refund you minus a £25 admin fee. See our full cancellation policy here.
